Apologies for the lack of contact from me, I’ve been a bit ill and
exhausted recently.

The LAN is tomorrow, and will hopefully be pretty awesome. Bring your PC,
laptop, games console, board games too, whatever!

Invite your friends, everyone is welcome!

If you have some great multiplayer games you think people would love to
try, if possible, stick them on a memory stick so we can try new games, as
well as old favourites, such as Urban Terror!

If possible, please bring your own Ethernet cable, but we should have some
spare. Make sure that any equipment you bring is clearly marked as yours,
to ensure that you don’t lose it.

Food is, as always, provided, but donations would be appreciated.

Lifts, from me, will be available from 10-11, I’m not sure about any other
cars. If you would like a lift, if possible, let me know today, pop me an
email or a text (07870265759) with your name, hardware to transport, and
your address and I’ll give you an ETA.

Set up is from 10.30am, with the intention to be up and running at 11. We
will be gaming and socialising until 9pm

Entry is £5 and I look forward to seeing many of you there

Looks like Georgie has been busy with stuff this week, and hasn’t had a
chance to get your weekly newsletter to you.

Thursday we are all at crazy spcs’ house (that’s mine!) for some awesome
filmage. I hope you like swords and blood, as this week we have Tokyo Gore
Police for your viewing pleasure.

The LAN is almost here, so everyone make sure you come. I don’t know the
details, I’ll make sure an email goes out in the next few days with them.
However, rumour has it that the network will be up before 2pm!!! woo,
progress!

Title: Games, Games, Games
Location: Babbage 105
Description: As alluded to last week, this Monday’s meeting will be another relaxed and friendly affair – 18:30 in Babbage 105 again. We’re going to be hooking up a 360 to the projector and playing a variety of games – Rock Band will be happening (with plenty of DLC), Street Fighter IV may get broken out, I will take on all comers at Bomberman. I might also encourage you all to bring decent multiplayer 360 games if you got ‘em, but please remember that Halo and it’s ilk aren’t really suitable for big groups.

I’ll be bringing along a full set of Rock Band/Guitar Hero instruments, but they are not hugely up-to-date (for those with an interest in such matters, it’ll be an X-plorer, RB1 Strat and drums, and the standard single mic). These will be fine, but if anyone has and wants to bring along some of the newer instruments, please feel free, though we can’t arrange transport for bigger stuff, and you’ll have to take them home before we hit the pub later.

I also encourage you to bring along DSes and PSPs – there may be Mario Kart fun to be had among other things.
